Hearth & Vines Hat
This hat involves simple cables and twists. You know how to cast on, knit, purl, check gauge, bind off. In this class, I’ll help you learn techniques for twists and cables.
Skills covered: Pre-requisite: You know how to long tail cast on, knit, purl, bind off and have had exposure to knitting in the round. We’ll review knitting in the round, checking gauge, increasing, decreasing. You will learn how to make a right twist, cable, read a chart, magic loop technique, blocking.

Gauge:
Ribbing, on US 5 / 3.75mm needles: 20 sts and 32 rnds = 4”/10cm
Cable pattern on US 7 / 4.5mm needles: 24 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/10cm
