Fresh air, cool breezes, watching the boats sail in and out again…

I love a good boat neck tee, and the idea of textured stripes popped into my head. This breezy top has a repeat pattern that’s relaxing enough to knit at the beach. It just needed to happen!

My students often inspire me to design patterns that are accessible and introduce a few new techniques. I’ve included videos for avoiding color jogs with stripes, German Short Rows, and a simple Running Stitch finish for the armhole.
