Mt. Monadnock Cowl and Fingerless Mitts
“Exploring nature’s playground,” walking through the woods, continues to be one of my favorite activities. When the temperature turns a bit cooler, I’m always reaching for extra layers of warmth ~ inside and outside! Keep snuggly warm with this cowl and fingerless mitts set, fine companions to the Pack Monadnock hat.
Difficulty/Skills Required:
Beginner / Intermediate. Knit, purl, long-tail cast on, K2tog, SSK, knit in the round.
Yarn Weight: Aran Notions: Tapestry needle,
stitch markers, scissors, stitch holder or scrap yarn.

Cowl: Right Twist Rib on US 10 / 6 mm needles: 17 sts and 25 rnds = 4” / 10 cm Texture Pattern on US 10 / 6 mm needles: 16 sts and 26 rnds = 4” / 10 cm
Mitts: Right Twist Rib on US 7 / 4.5 mm needles: 20 sts and 26 rnds = 4” / 10 cm Texture Pattern on US 9 / 5.5 mm needles: 17 sts and 26 rnds = 4” / 10 cm

Juniper Moon Saxony (75% Cashmere Goat, 25% Wool - Merino); 120 yds / 110 m per 50 g / 1.76 oz skein
