The idea for this scarf came to me as I was chatting about Spring and planting seeds with my youngest knitting buddy. Planting seeds… filled with wonder, anticipation, and hope.
This elongated trapezoid shaped scarf begins with a garter stitch at the tip and gradually incorporates Seed Boxes with garter edges until scarf reaches full width, then Seed Boxes are repeated in the Center section, before decreasing Seed Boxes to garter tip.
Pattern instructions are both written and charted.
Width may be modified by changing the number of repeats of Seed Boxes (Increases) and (Decreases).
Length may be modified by changing the number of Center Seed Box section repeats.
Any modifications will affect yardage requirements.
Difficulty/Skills Required: Beginner
Long tail cast on, Knit, Purl, KFB, SSK, Blocking, Weaving in ends.
Yarn Weight:
Worsted or Fingering.
